Marketing = Good Cash Flow

Cash Flow is the lifeblood of business, and there is no better way to kill Cash Flow than to never market your business, to never sell your products and/or services. If you succeed in killing cash flow, you will succeed in killing your company.

I once heard an evangelist preach a sermon about Clairol Christians, with his primary meaning being, only their hairdresser knew for sure (drawing from the Clairol commercials about women coloring their hair with Clairol products, but only their hairdresser would know). If only your hairdresser knows you’re a Christian, then you are missing the point of being salt and light. In the same vein of thought, if only your current customers know you manufacture custom cabinetry, and you put all your faith in those current clients telling people how great you/your company/your products are (i.e., word of mouth), then you just might find yourself standing before the bankruptcy judge one day in the future. At risk of repeating last weeks message, don’t put your company's destiny in the mouths of others (people tend to have short memories when you do them right, and long memories when you do them wrong).

I can hear some of you saying, “I’m a Craftsman, not a Salesmen”. Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but to be a business owner, you have to be BOTH! So, for those lacking Marketing Muscle, and those lacking Sales Skills, I have a secret message/mission just for you hidden in plain sight in my Custom Cabinet Planner course. I’m not going to tell you exactly where to look (I touch on it multiple times in multiple lessons), but the hint is utilizing the Project Images Gallery well (as I intended when I created it).

So, your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to take the Custom Cabinet Planner course, find the hidden marketing plan, execute that plan, and watch your company automagically scale. As always, should you or any of your team members be caught or killed, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This tape will self-destruct in 5 seconds. Good Luck, GoodProfiteer.
